Grandma Mary's Legacy
Grandma Mary’s Jollof Hut was set up in December 2019 in memory of Director Elizabeth’s late mother Mary. Grandma Mary was very passionate about food and flavours and the restaurant is a way of keeping her memory alive.
Grandma Mary spent most of her life doing charitable works and one of her main works was to house the homeless and feed the homeless. So we are committed to that aim. When we opened in 2019, we partnered with a Christian Charity at Stratford Mall every Monday evening to provide food for the homeless. We aim to continue that when the pandemic restrictions are lifted. We also aim to establish our own outreach very soon. The company also aims to empower women in business and the organisation aims to partner with it's employees.GM Jollof Hut specialises in takeaway Jollof rice and offer various other dishes. Our aim is to create beautiful dishes and flavors from the diverse cultures of Africa with a twist. GM Jollof Hut is currently located at the Theatre Royal entrance of Stratford Mall near the Westfield.
